Renold Otto Schilke (Green Bay, June 30, – September 5, ) was a professional orchestral trumpet player, instrument designer and manufacturer. He founded and ran Schilke Music Products Incorporated, a manufacturer of brass instruments and mouthpieces.A member of the trumpet Renold Otto Schilke, Sr., was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on June 30, , to a musical family. His father was a singer and his mother an organist, and Renold began studying cornet at age eight.
