Kenkichi Iwasawa was a Japanese mathematician who worked in algebraic number theory. Kenkichi Iwasawa attended elementary school in the town of his birth but went to Tokyo for his high school studies which were at the Musashi High School. In he entered Tokyo University where he was taught by Shokichi Shokichi Iyanaga and Zyoiti Suetuna.
